Sakoさんありがとう! Yes, very close to Xmas! Sometimes I would get just one present, but this is ok. What is not fun, is that usually people are very busy around the holidays so they cannot always help me celebrate. (;>_<;) So, I was super happy last year to go out with my sister!

去年の誕生日には、Hancock [ハンコク?] という名のビルで私の妹と昼食を食べました。Note:「去年の誕生日に」をトピックにして、「は」でマーキングします。もしも、ビルの名前に「～ビル」とあれば、「ハンコック・ビル」でいいのですが、ビルの名前のなかに「ビル」がないときには、「～という名（前）のビル」とすれば、「ハンコック」という言葉を初めて聞く人にもわかりやすくなります。

食べたのは95階にあるレストランです。
そのレストランからのシカゴの眺めは素敵でした。
→12月21日は私の誕生日です。
どちらでも同じです。
You can say both ways.
→12月21日は私の誕生日でした。
本文の内容が過去なのでこのほうがいいかもしれません。
It may be better because the following sentenses refer to the past.
去年にHancock [ハンコク?] のビルで私の妹と昼食を食べました。
→去年はHancock [ハンコック]にあるビルで妹と昼食を食べました。
①「にある」と言うとHancockが地名だとわかりやすくなります。
When you use 「にある」, it seems easier to understand "Hancock" is the place-name.
On the other hand, if you say 「の」, "Hancock" can be a person(=Mr. or Mrs. Hancock owns the building) other than geographic name.
And if "Hancock" is the name of the building, I agree with masamune.
②そこにいるのが自分の妹だけの場合は特に「私の」は言わなくても大丈夫です。
You do not have to say 「私の」if there is no other sisters except your's.

去年にHancock [ハンコック?] のビルで私の妹と昼食を食べました。→I suppose "Hancock Building" is unique noun, not one of the buildings in some area. If so, please do not use ”の” because ”ハンコックのビル” is literally understood as "a building in Hancock" or "a building of Hancock."
