I overslept today.
(It was seven twenty when I woke up.)

When I got up, I realized that I was not be able to see well.
My view were fogged up.
I went to a lavatory and I found that my contact lenses weren't there.
...They were in my eyes.
I forgot to remove them last night and I slept.
I removed them and wash well.
My eyes seems have no problems. Phew.

My six-year-old son is a sleepyhead.
I have to wake him up every day (but he doesn't wake up soon).
I have to scold him, and I'm irritated every morning.
But today, I overslept, so he wasn't scolded.
I don't want to overslept (or left my contact lenses in my eyes), but it has a few good sides, I guess.

There are a few contact lens that you can wear while sleeping also. I dont remember the brand name but I guess you can google for it. A few of my European friends use it everyday and they really like it.

  • I have to tell him off, and I'm irritated every morning. (The verb "scold" is ok, but it's an older word, it's more natural just to use the phrasal verb "tell off")

Thank you.
..But "contactlenses" is plural, so isn't it OK if I use "were"???
Nov 28th 2011 07:12 Dav7d
