一コマ目
女将：それでは、その真珠を使って簪（かんざし）を作ると良いでしょう。ここにある部屋に住んでも結構です。
Proprietress: Well then, you should make some hairpins from those pearls. I wouldn't mind if you live in a room here.
二コマ目
市場を歩くゆきと女将：明日、私とゆきさん、二人で一緒に買い物をしましょう。
Yuki and the proprietress walking through a market: Tomorrow, let's go shopping together, just the two of us.
三コマ目
宝石商に真珠を見せるゆきと女将：真珠の簪を作るのに宝石商に行ったり、
Yuki and the proprietress showing the pearls to a jeweler: Let's go to a jeweler to make the pearl hairpins,
四コマ目
ゆきは絹布を身につけて女将に見せる：絹の着物をもう少し買いに弟の店に行ったりしましょう。
Yuki holding up some cloth against herself to show the proprietress: and to my brother's shop to buy some more silk kimonos.
五コマ目
ゆき：しかし、お金がありません。
Yuki: But I have no money!
六コマ目
女将：心配しないでください。お金は私がお貸しします。この町一番の茶道家なんですから、すぐにも返すことが出来ますよ。
Proprietress: Don't worry about it. I will loan you the money. You're the city's best tea server, so you will be able to pay it back before you know it.
