When I was a baby, I had an allergy reaction to penicillin, so I've never taken any medicament with this component ever since.
Because that happens a long time ago, I decided to take the allergy tests to check if I'm still allergic to penicillim.
This mornig, after five hours of tests in the Allergology Hospital and no reaction to the medicament even after taken it twice, the doctor has determinated I'm not allergic to penicillim.
I'm glad with the result, because it's a component very common in many antibiotics, and now if I'm ill I can take it with no worries.

Although English is not my mother language,I am not willing to correct your entry. So I make a comment on your entry!!
I think that so happy you would be when you were told about your result by the doctor.I have been having no allergy to anything.I might be a happy man.

  • When I was a baby, I had an allergy reaction to penicillin, so I've never taken any medicament with this component ever since.
  • When I was a baby, I had an allergic reaction to penicillin, so I've never taken any medication with this component ever since.*(Allergy here is an adjective, so it is describing "reaction". Therefore, it must become "allergic".)*("Medicament" isn't really used. "Medicine" is better understood.)*("Component" is still used often, so I left it alone. You can also use "ingredient" in its place.)

  • Because that happened a long time ago, I decided to take the allergy tests to check if I'm still allergic to penicillin.*(It happened in the past, therefore, "happens" becomes "happened.")

  • This morning, after five hours of tests in the Allergology Hospital and no reaction to the medicine even after having taken it twice, the doctor has determined that I'm not allergic to penicillin.*("Taken" can only be used with a form of "have" before it.)

Wow, 5 hours! So long! It was all worth it though. ^_^
