紫陽花 hydrangea

明日は京都に紫陽花を見に行く予定です。
Tommorow I am going to see hydrangea.

この季節は雨ばかりで嫌いな人も多いようですが、私は紫陽花が綺麗なので結構好きです。
Many people seem to hate this season due to heavy rain　but I love this season because hydrangea is so beautiful.

紫陽花は土壌の状態によって花の色が変化します。
Hydrangea defer the color of flower according to the soil.

そのことから別名「七変化」と呼ばれているそうです。
It is also called "various chenge" because of its nature.

酸性だと青系で、アルカリ性だと赤系です。
Acid soil make blue and alkaline red.

京都の紫陽花スポットと言えば、三室戸寺、藤森神社、三千院などが有名です。
Famous hydrangea places in Kyoto is Mimurodo-temple, Fujinomori-shrine and Sanzeninn.
