I enjoyed this weekend very much.
On Saturday I went to the explanation seminar of our musical.
Our musical will be performed October and now we're gathering participants.
I explained the people who come for for the first time as an experiencer.
I set a fire on my heart for the next musical!!
On Sunday I went to the E.S.S club, which I belonged to in my University days.
The recitation contest for the freshmen was held.
I also feel fresh by their speech.
Like this, I spent the weekend with fun.
All the more I feel depressed 'cause I have to go to work starting tomorrow...

Our musical will be performed in October so now we're gathering participants. (Because the second half of your sentence was a result of the first half, I felt "so" was better to use. ^^)
Another good expression to use is "This got me pumped for the next musical!!"
