In some countries the average weight of people is increasing and their levels of health and fitness are decreasing.
What do you think are the causes of these problems and what measures could be taken to solve them?

You should write at least 250 words.

Answer

In recent society, people are gaining weight more and more and their health and fitness levels got decreasing. These are seen particularly in developed countries.
There some causes of them. The cause people often mention is that many tools and machines became much more useful and convenient and then it is not necessary for people to move. For instance, thanks to the Internet, people who have their computers can purchase goods without leaving their houses. They can visit many shops on the Internet and buy some items there with credit cards, then things they but are carried to their homes. The development of the transportation is also contributing to the problems. People do not need to walk/run or climb with cars, buses, trains, elevators, escalators and so on.
It is easy to solve these problems. The earliest way is that people give up these useful tools and machines. They should go out shopping instead of using their computers. Then they are able to excise more. They should walk or run instead of driving cars, using buses, or reserving the airplain. Another way of solving is to excise regularly. If you have to use computers or cars because you are so busy, you should excise in the weekend. To play with your children would be a lot of fun and relaxed you very much in addition to excising. From my own experience, I was able to lose my weight to go swimming. In addition, I made many friends in the pool, who motivated me going swimming again. To give up using useful tools and excise is the best way of solving the problem.
