Struck by lightning

I was still sleeping when I received a message from my senior. The content of the message struck me like a lightning.
Now my feet and hands are cold like waiting for a death sentence.
Since I am truly awake now, I better go study for my Korean exam. The exam is today at 3.30pm.
No more thinking of exams in the head, just about the content of the message.

Now my feet and hands are cold like I'm waiting for my death sentence.
Since I am truly awake now, I had better go study for my Korean exam.
