Hi everyone,

Lately, I found out that foreigner never say "Bye Bye" instead of "Bye" or "Later".
If you want be Japanese, you should say "じゃあねぇ、ばいばい" or just "ばいばい".

You may feel it sounds like a baby words but it is a typical Japanese.
Especially, "Bye Bye" is spoken by young people and womens.

If I heard that someone who is a Japanese said "Bye", only once, it sounds really strange.
Not only me but also many Japanese people think this guy is "smugness", "Westoxication" or "westernized people" for sure. Anyway, it impress us in negative way.

Thats all, Bye bye!!

My correction slightly differed from the first one, but that's only variants of the same. Your English is very nice.

Personally, I use neither Bye, nor Bye Bye. I prefer "mata ne" or some similar Japanese version of "See ya later" :)
