UNIT1 Present Continuous (V + ている)

Study this example situation:
Sarah is in her car. She is on her way to work.
彼女は職場へと運転している。
　She is driving to work.

This means:she is driving now, at time of speaking.
The action is not finished.
"duractional verb + ている" is present continuous.

働いている
している

We use "momentary verb + ている,ようとしている" when we talk about changes happening around now.

　Is your English getting better?
世界の人口は急激に増えようとしている。
The population of the world is increasing very fast.
最初、仕事が好きではなかったが、今は、楽しくなり始めようとしている。
　At first I didn't like my job, but I'm beginning to enjoy it now.
