Last semester, I applied a learning partner of foreign exchange students of OIA. Luckily, I am going to have a learning partner from main-land China. But to be honest, I am a little dispointed, because the languages between Taiwan and China are almost the same. There is no problem when we conversate. I wish I could have a partner who is Japanese or Englisg-speaking person, so that we can help each other to learn languages. That must be a lot of fun if our languages are different. But I still cherish the opportunity to have a learning partner, mayber we can learn other things form each other, right? I am looking forward.

Sounds fun! I understand what you mean, though, it's a lot of fun to get to know someone who speaks a different language. Maybe you can meet someone like that some other way. If your university has a Foreign Exchange Club, you can try there.
