I am a beginner
I am new to Lang-8, so I'm still trying to make a lot of firends here. So I have to wirte many journals to give people an opportunity to get to know me. Now I am on winter break, but nothing special has happened. I don't know what to share with you guys, forgive me. I am waiting for the coming Chinese New Year, perhaps I will have something to share then.
Well, then how about I introduce myself?
I am Taiwanese, and I live in Maioli but study in Taichung. I major in English and minor in Japanese. I've been studying English for ten years, I think most Taiwanes begin learning English at around 10 years old, as I did. In addition, there are many Taiwanese who learn English in a bilingual kindergarten. I start to learn Japanese when I was a sophomore(now I am a junior), when I decided to take Japanese as my third language. All students in English department at my university must take on a third language. I think it is great to learn other languages. I took Japanese courses because I love Japanese culture. Taiwan dose get a lot of influence from Japan. My Japanese conversation teacher is from Japan, and he is the most hurmorous teacher I have ever met. He is not only a good teacher but also a great singer. Occasionally he would teach us Japanese songs and sing for us. His singing is amazing!!! Maybe later I can show a video of one of his performances to you; you guys will definitely be surprised.
My English name is Vicki, 脂肪人is my nickname. haha
I am 20 years old, and I am easygoing. Please feel free to ask me any question you have. I love making friends, especially with people from other countries, as the language barrier tends to create a humorous situations. I've never been abroad, so I think making friends with foreginers can broaden my horizons.:P
My Japanese is too poor to write such a journal like this in. If I were to attempt it, it would take an entire day, I think. I will try though, beacuse I add a lot of Japanese as friends but seldom write in Japanese, that will make them dispointed, right? And my Japanese will never improve.
Revised.

your nickname is 脂肪人? haha... it's funny.
By the way, if you wanna learn English,
then you should write your journal in English.
(of cource, we won't dissapointed)
if your friends wanna improve their 中文,
please correct their journal(if there are something wrong).
And if you wanna improve your Japanese,
just you write in Japanese. then we'll help you.
That's all.
It's simple :)
I will listen to your suggestion:P
Maybe few days later, I will start my Japanese journal~
When I finished my Englis journal, I wanted to translate it into Japanese, but I failed haha
Because my English is much better than Japanese, and I don't know how to translate those English sentences I worte into Japanese.
Maybe next time, I should start from Japanese, so that I won't have problem to translate Japanese into English.
I know why you said my nickname is funny, because the meaning in Japanese and Chinese are the same and you understand. Some Japanese friends of mine thought 脂肪人is my real Chinese name when we chatted via MSN, that's funny
it's idiot. I told you lol XDDD
