what a pity!

The day before yesterday, my driving school selected some students to attend the driving practice test after two days .But my little sister and me were training driving in another place when they was selecting ,so we missed the selection. My driving was bad , I knew that I couldn't be selected to take test even if we were there on selecting day, but my sister drived well, she could enter the driving examination if she didn't miss it .but now , we all must continue training driving until next test coming .These days ,weather was so cold . I have to practice in following days . but to my sister ,it was so ？（how should I say it ? I have no idea which word would be appropriate?）
