I've been studying English grammar by using 'Grammar in Use', and writing in English every day.
Please correct my writings below the line.

------------------------

10/03/01 : A student, who learn drawing to me, didn't attend a supplementary lesson that she missed last week. She may(might) have forgotten that she had a lesson.

10/03/02 : If I finished to study this unit yesterday, I might paint at my studio now.

10/03/03 : In korea, a student, who want to go on to a College of Arts, has to learn drawing technique at an art institute. This fact break my heart although I teach at an art institute.

10/03/04 : I have been reading 'A series of Unfortunate Events' since last month, so I decided to take this book as I went out yesterday. But I didn't read it, so it wasn't necessary. I needn't have taken this book.

10/03/05 : I've finished to study the Unit 33, 'Should(1)', of 'Grammar in use' very late today night, so I'm tired. I should have studied this Unit earlier.

  • I needn't have taken this book.
  • I did not have to take the book. (your sentence is grammatically correct, but this sounds more natural~)
