Not bad! The meaning of your sentences are clear, but some of the sentences are phrased awkwardly. I think the only way to improve with these is to just keep practicing. Keep up the good work!

”Im going to hit the hay." is probably almost the same as "Im going to hit the sack.". I use the latter more often than the former :) "Its pissing down." also means "Its raining heavily" but is probably more commonly used in England ...
