Valentine's day of your country

Valentine's day is the day after tomorrow.
Japanese valentine is the day that the women give some chocolate to the men. The woman expresses her affection to the man who she is loving.

On the other hand, In United states, The men gives flower to the women.I heard from my American friend.

And Japan has White day. White day is the day that the man give some candy and cookie to the woman.

I think this day is important for young people. Because, this day helps the girl who is loving someone.

This sentence isn't correct, grammatically you can't start a sentence with "because" so this sentence needs to be changed to:

"I think this day is important to young people because it helps girls who love someone"
