Visiting Japan 2

My sister-in-law is visiting Japan now. Two days ago, she, my brother and my mother went to Hakone, that is about 70 miles away from the center of Tokyo. They stayed at a Japanese-style hotel. While there, my sister-in-law slept on a futon. It was the first time for her sleeping on a futon. The dinner was "Kaiseki", which was originally a simple meal served during the traditional tea ceremony. Of course, she had never tasted kaiseki before, and my mother and my brother were a little worried her if she could eat it. However, she enjoyed the dinner and finished all the dishes. After the dinner, she and my mother went to a common bathing area, where you take a bath with others. Their room has own bathroom though she wanted to try the common bath. My mother told me that she looked a little awkward while she was bathing, but it is understandable!
