My dog

When I was a college student, my dog "Kuro" died. She looked fine in the previous day, but she died unexpectedly on the next day. In the morning, I came home from the convenience store, where I was working night shift as a part time job. I was tired and sleepy when I got home, and my mother was just preparing breakfast for me. Then she told me that Kuro barked a lot last night. Kuro sometimes barks at night time, so it was not unusual thing anyway, and I did not pay much attention to it. However, something inside of me moved my body, and the next moment I stood up and went to the backyard, where Kuro was in. It was a strange feeling, because I was tired from the work and just started eating breakfast, so I did not want to go see my dog. However, somehow my body automatically moved against my will, and I found myself going to the backyard. When I opened the door to the backyard, I saw Kuro laying down on the ground. She noticed me for a moment and lifted her head from the ground and wagged her tail a few times, but at the very next moment, her head sank suddenly into the ground and the tail stopped wagging. I ran up to her quickly and kept calling her name, but she was unconscious and the eyes looked fishy. She did not wake up again and soon after , she died. I believe that she called me before she died.
