I've been busy. Because I decided to go to University of Cambridge for 2 months this summer. My university has relation with there. So I can go UK again :)
I planed to go USA, but I quit because I could go to UK.

Recently I'm busy with school work and preparing for studying abroad.
I'll study hard and do my best at Cambridge.


By the way, I bought a new PC yesterday and I started skype.

It has been long time since I came here last.
School has started, so I was so busy recently.

From March to May, I went to many places like Guam or Okinawa for instance. Also I climbed Mt Fuji which is the most famous and highest mountain in Japan.
I had great time in this spring:)

Recently I gat a good news which I was chosen as internship program member.
So this summer, I can go to USA!!!!
I've never been to USA and I'm so excited about it.
Actually my host company hasn't decided yet.
I have to take interview test though skype.
I'm feeling nervous now><

Anyway, I have to study about USA!!!
I will do my best:)

I went swimming today^^

Since I was a junior high school student, I had been joining swimming club.
Starting university life, I quitted swimming and I started playing tennis.

Swimming club was 4 times a week and I was a leader of our club.
There is no pool in my school, So we went to Tokyo metropolitan gymnasium or other big sports facilities.
There were 40 student, include all grade students, and it was tough to manage. But when I was a third grade, we could win Tokyo tournament. So our bond is strong.
Recently we could not gather, because we became university students and there was no time to meet with each other.

Today, I went swimming with 4 members of swimming club.
I met them after an interval of 1 year.
Swimming in the pool was very fun. But I became tired soon.
I was shocked. Because when I joined swimming club, I use to swim about 3 kilometers in a day.
Though I swam only 1kilo today, I came to lose my breath at once.
I felt decreased strength. Acutually we all felt about it.
I thought that I had to exercise usually more.

How often do you play sports??

I went to New Zealand when I was 15 and it was first time to go overseas. I stayed in north island with host family.
It was my high school program. Every morning, I went to international school with thier sons. Japanese students, including me, called their children buddy. So basically we conduct anything with them, like goind shopping or playing sport.

Most student's buddy were different the ages, but hopefully my buddy was same age. My buggy name is Blake.
He and I are interested in tennis. After school, we often played tennis in his house's court. So we could become good friends soon.
By the way, I was surprised because they hed own tennis court.

Anyway we spent a good time and when I confused with English, he always helped me. So in return I taucht him Japanese.
My host family was very interested in Japan, especially custom.
In their house, they often used chopsticks when it was dinner time.

Finally, Blake came to be able to read the hiragana a little and only one kanji, which is 車.

Three years later, I went to UK. After that I started FaceBook.
On Face Book, I serched his name and I could find out.

So recentry chatted on Facebook and todoy I received a massege from him.
He said 'Thanks to you, I came to like Japanese and I will go to Japan in April and stay 6 weeks" on his massage.

I was really happy because he will come to Japan and also he has been studying English after I leave New Zealand.

I interested person who is foreign student in Japanese and I could spread Japanese.
So I'm really happy now. I want to speak both languages which is English and Japanese with him^^


By the way, How can I say "これからもよろしくお願いします" in English?
I wanted to use this phrase when I returned diary's massage.
So someone please tell me~

People around me are not interested in English very much, because most students want to become lawer or officer or public employee.
So they only study compulsory English at universuty.

I'm interested in international law and in the future, I want to be a professor. My uncle was Toronto university's professor and he always told me that professor was enjoyable job.
Because they can concentrate on their job what they like to study.
Also they can teach students them.
Besides they can hop over foreign countries through institute.
So If I become a professor, I do not think getting tired of my life, though I think an actual reality is severe.
(実際の現実は厳しいと思うが、大学の教授になれたら人生に飽きないと思う)
That's why I want to be a professor. So I need to study English.

I want friends who have similar ambition. From third grade, there are 5 courses in my department , like the legal course or international course or business law course for instance.
Though there are about 1000 students in my department, there are only 50 students who intend to go. It is very few.

I want to make friends who are interested in internationalization and I want to study hard by competing with each other.
It is easy for me to study If there are a lot of rivals.

Lastly, I'm sorry for writing self-satisfactory diary.
Which do you like studying yourself or studying with rivals?
I'm totally the latter. How about you?

When I was a high school student, I went to English conversation school briefly and I met an old teacher by chance today.
We went to the coffee shop to talk after a long separation.

Thanks to keeping in touch with English friends and keep listenig English almost every day, I thought I could understand better than before what she said.
She is from Leeds, UK, and of course she uses British English.
For me, it was difficult to understand British English though I went to UK for 1 month.

Somehow I can understand American English better than British English.
Perhaps, American English is friendlier than British one in Japan.

Anyway, we talked about English accent.
She said that there are any dialects in English.
I thought Japanese also has a lot of dialects.
Some of the Japanese dialects are unintelligible for me.

Talking of English, I think that there are various dialects, because English is spoken in a lot of regions.
Engilsh is common language in the world. Therefore, various English might exist.

I inclined to know that how to hear about English which is spoken by japanese for native speakers.
（日本人の話す英語が、ネイティブスピーカーにどのように聞こえているのかが、気になった）
Most native speakers say japanese English is difficult to understand.
I know the reasons, but it is hard to modify because English's vowel is difference with Japanese one.
Besides, rhythms are different between English and Japanese.
In Japanese, there is no intonation compared with English.
So Japanese is always same rhythms.
On the other hand, English has dynamics of the sound.

I wanted to become good English speaker. So I practiced like listening or imitation of native speaker for instance.

But recently 1 problem has been puzzling me.
The problem is that I am not able to understand an English intonation.
Even if the same word is said, I think that an English intonation is different at each speaker.
(私は、英語のイントネーションが難しくて理解できません。
同じ言葉でも、人によってイントネーションが違うように聞こえてしまう)

My teacher said ”you had better practice English intonation”.
But actually, I don't know when should I change intnation like speed of rhythm or dynamics of the sound. They are not in Japanese.
I think that I should touch English more.
Do such a problem to be understand if time is getting on?

But there is a reason why I work hard recentry.
Taking advantage of this spring break, I save money and I'm going to overseas in this summer vacation.
I plan to use my university's study abroad program like last year's way. In order to use it, I have to save money and study hard.
Therefore, I endure working even if it is tough.

I was asked to go to club by english friend last friday. I wanted to go club and dance but I refused. I had to work from 16:00 to 23:00 so there is no other way.

A little while ago, when I checked Facebook, I found pictures contributed by my friends. It looks so fun and I envied it a litle.

I will definitely concentrate on enjoyment during summer vacation.

I have a friend who can speak English fluently. Because when he was a junior high school student, he studied abroad for 3years.

When I was a high school student, he and I took same English classes. In one of them, there is a English conversation class.
During the class, he only talked my native teacher. On the other hand, I couldn't speak English even diary conversation.
I felt the defeat. Therefore I started studying English from then.
I am very unyielding though I think saying it myself is strange.
(自分で言うのもおかしいですが、私はすごく負けず嫌いです)
Maybe my English sentence is weird, I write it in Japanese too.

Thanks to him, I came to be interested in English and I have worked hard aiming at him.

But recently I don't study earnestly though I'm in spring break and I have a lot of time to study.
So I think that I recall that time memory and study hard.

Anyway do you have the experience thought to be defeated by other person, and to work hard like me?

In my case, I have more episodes like this.

I saw a movie which is named "good will hunting" today.
This movie is human drama and main actor is Matt Damon.

I like Matt Damon. I've seen his movies so many like oceans series for instance.

I was greatly touched by this movie. The story was so good.
I wanted to see more human drama movies.

Do you like movies? I want to see many movies during spring vacation.

I went to Naeba to go snowboard with my friends and we stayed 2 days there.
On February 26th' night, we left Tokyo at 23:00 and we went to Naeba by bus. We arrived there at 5:00. During the bus trip, it was very hard. Because the bus was very small and I couldn't stretch out.
Beside we arrived there too early though hotel checkin started from 7:00. We spent outside in winter. That was painful.

However, after hotel checkin, our trip getting better.
Naeba skipark was fantastic!! Even almost on March, snow condition was very good and we could have good time.
I tryed half pipe first time. When I saw Shaun White on TV, I wanted to try half pipe. It was so difficult but enjoyed.

At night, we held a small party. We drunk and we laughed and it was nice night. Also there are 4 american people next to our hotel room.
We drunk with them without notice. I don' t remember whether I spoke English at that time. But maybe it was good international exchange.

Now, I'm suffering from muscular pain. I have to work tomorrow. I bear up under neckache.

I am a cram school lecturer teacher I wrote in the diary the other day.
Talking of teacher, there is a famous academic manga in Japan which is called 'GTO'.
GTO is a dirty manga but my favorite manga. In addition, GTO is not only manga but also the drama was telecasted to the original.

During the net surfing, I found out GTO's drama on youtube. It was with Spanish subtitle.
There are 12 episode and main casts are Takashi Sorimachi and Nanako matsushima.
By the way, I am a fan of Nanako Mastushima.

I could watch all of them today. I couldn't stop watching when I see just one episode.
I touche the content a little.

A former hot-rodder 'Onizuka' who arrives at a private high school solves to a lot of problems to surround the entire educational institution by an unusual method and he takes an active part.

It was very fun to watch. I recommend to watch this.

I like to see the dramas since early childfood and not only japanese drama but also foreign drama. My favorite foreign darma is ER.

I've seen ER, full house, The OC, and 24. I watch them with English sub title. It is good tool to study English.
I think that my listenig skill has improved, thanks to watching dramas in English.

If you want to improve your japanese listening skills, I recommend you to watch japanese drana in japanese.
As has been mentioned, I recommend GTO. The others are Umizaru or 1リットルの涙 or Dr,コトー診療所.←sorry I couldn't transform.
You should check by all means.

Finally I want to know more interesting foreign dramas. If you know it, please tell meXP

I'm now so sleepy because.....

Watching Vancouver Olympics yesterday, I suddenly wanted to go snowboard. So I went to snowboard by myself:p
I asked 'Let's go snowboard tomorrow' to my friends, but of course it was impossible.

In the morning, I got up at 5 and I went to Nagano Prefecture.
It was like small trip and lack of sleep was vanished.

Thanks to weekday, there were not so much people there.
I could slide about 5 hours and It was nice weather.
The snow was so soft that my bottom didn't become hurt.
After the snowboard, I sorked in a hot spring.
I had very good time there though there was no plan.

I will plan to go by staying with the friend next time though it is a day trip and myself this time.

This time I went to Naeba snow park. Naeba is so famous for good ski resort.
I recommend this place to skiing for fun.There are over 50 ski lift, so you can enjoy various cources.
When you come to Japan in winter, please go by all means.
Please tell me your country's good ski resorts. I want to go in the future:)

I only stayed 1 month. So I had to go back to Japan soon.
I wanted to stay in UK more, but I couldn't, because it was my school program.
I thought I can't talk them for the duration.
But I was able to keep connecting with them through computer even if returning to Japan.
So I want to say 'thank you' to computer :)

Sometimes I chatted with my friends through facebook or skype.
It is very fun to talk with them and know their daily life.
Computer is very necessary for me. Some of my friends say I can't live without computer. I think it's too big words, but I can understand.

I use computer for not only chat or skype but also sending reports to my professor or watching movies.
Recently I watch celebrities interview on youtube to improve my listening skills.
It is very fun to watch and free is good for me.
Computer already has the possibility that is part in my life.

After the job, I went to KARAOKE where people can sing there with my colleague.
One problem occurred here, though I went with first member.
It didn't warm up because the artists who we each like were totally different. I like punk like New Found Glory or Green Day or Zebrahead for instance. Other guys don't like punk very much and they didin't interjected chant for me. So I felt alone when I sang it.
Usually I go KARAOKE with my band member. So we sing together and our voice rise in excitement.
On the basis of this experience, I thought I should sing songs which all member know.
What kind of song do you like^ ^??

By the way, I became 19 years old. So I decided this year's achievement.
My achievement is to make friends beyond the country and to study English hard to study abroad.
I'll do my best!!!!!!!!!!

In Japan, February is examination season for students.
Recently some of them start examination.So I'm working hard.
I hope that they all pass the examination.
My job which is Cram school teacher is hard for me.But other teachers are almost university students like me. So it is fun to speak with them and easy to ask questions.
And it is fun to talk with elementary school students as well.
They always speak to me their school life or hobbies or favorite anime.
I can still keep up with their conversation like anime.
Recent elementary school students still like Pokemon.
By the way, When I was young, Pokemon started on TV.
So I felt Pokemon is very long life.
And I was shy when I started this job.But recently I don't feel nervous very much.I glad I choose this job.
