I went to Namba to shopping.
And I found a restaurant was discounting a meal.
"うな重弁当" was 790YEN today. It usually costs 1,000YEN.

"うな重弁当" 〔うなじゅうべんとう〕
The restaurant made "うな重弁当" from "うな重", (hot)"そば", "烏龍茶" and "お漬け物".

"うな重" was boiled rices with a piece of grilled eel.
It tasted slightly sweet. But it was nice.

(hot)"そば” was Japanese Soba noodle in hot Japanese soup.
The soup tasted very good. おいしかったー( Since my hunger, It might be.)

"烏龍茶"(oolong tea) and "お漬け物"(some piece of pickled vegetables) were appendix to the meal.
Although, those tasted good.

I felt to enough happy with the meal.

It was a nice day today. ;-) 今日は いい日 だったね! (^_-)-☆

  • I noticed that a certain restaurant had a special offer on a meal. << Discount doesn't really sound great for food. It sort of carries the feeling that the discount is compensation for something wrong with the thing being sold.

  • "烏龍茶"(oolong tea) and "お漬け物"(some pieces of pickled vegetables) were supplements to the meal. << Vegetables is plural, so pieces needs to be too or it sounds weird. Appendix used for books. I'm not sure what word to use. American parts of a meal are like, appetizers (comes before the meal), main course and desert. If you mean some small part of the meal that comes after (appendix always comes after), then I can't think of a word. You could just say, "The meal also included some pickled veggies and Oolong tea."
