I had a fever of about 40 degrees and felt sore my joints when I got up.
So I was wondering these symptoms were flu.
I want to go to the hospital right away, but I thought if I had a flu, I have not to be infected to others. Therefore, I called the hospital to confirm how to receive medical. The nurse said ” Please just put on a mask." and I said " I understand."
And then, I went to the hospital with attaching a mask.
When I arrived at the hospital, I was immediately guided to the another room and examined the flu test.
As a result, I was not the flu, but the cold.
I was prescribed the medicine, then I was normal temperature the next day after taking it.
Huu, it's my pleasure of not being the flu.

  • Phew, I'm glad it wasn't the flu. OR Phew, I'm glad I didn't have the flu.

"As a result" Using this would mean that somehow the test itself changed what disease you had.

"it's my pleasure" is usually used after someone thanks you, and you're saying that no, you don't need thanks, you're just happy to be able to do something for that someone.
