I started coughing from March 22th.
(せきが３月２２日から出始めた）
I was prescribed some medicine at the hospital at that time.
(その時、病院でいくつかの薬を処方された。）
I took the medicine, then my cough showed signs of stopping.
(薬を飲んだら、咳が止まる兆候が見えた）
Actually my cough stopped daytime, but it didn't stopped while I was sleeping.

I took the medicine, then my cough seemed like it might/would stop. ((You had correct grammar, but I think this sounds more natural))
Actually my cough stopped in the daytime, but it not while I was sleeping. ((more efficient way of saying it))
