I saw "the disappearance"
Yesterday I went to Umeda (the central area in Osaka) for a while to see a film called "The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya (涼宮ハルヒの消失)".
I don't write about it so much, but how I can say... the story told me some kinds of feels like suffering or pain from isolation.
As for the pace of the story, I felt some scenes were a bit slower, some rush scenes pulled me in... Ehh, the pace might be so clear. (I'm confused...)
And I noticed other worthless points: the colors seemed to be a little faded because of filming or being designed, and typesettings used some Japanese fonts "NewRodin" and "Seurat" (by Fontworks Inc.) and Heisei Gothic but the Western fonts were not used so much, unfortunately.
But I had had one point in my mind: How does Nagato, who is usually silent and speaks in a detached tone, play two characters of herself in this film?
The difference was very slight, though, she might tried to act along her original character... I can't explain nicely:-( But I felt I got it on some level.
(I don't have a special feeling for a certain character, unfortunately:-P)
It was 3-hour film, but I felt it finished quickly. Some details throughout the film were also drawn nicely like the effects of car-passing and the lights. They did a pretty good work, I think.
After coming back home, I bought the outro song "優しい忘却 (Yasashii Boukyaku; literally meaning "Gentle oblivion")" on iTunes.
While seeing the end roll, I thought how it would sound with piano. Do I start learning piano on this chance? But it's just an impure motive, sorry teacher... Oops, I'm caught in their trap! (laughter)
