Minna ikuzo.. ok to be used?
what about "minna, ikuzo!"? what does that mean..
is it military-like? and is it correct?
because we have this speech choir presentation about the Japanese invasion in the Philippines.. so we need to have them speak in Japanese.
so, they asked me..
what does
"ALL MEN! GET READY! FIRE (fire as in fire your guns!)
my question is is "minna! ikuzo" ok to be used?
can you suggest any other phrases to be used? and can you use romanji please?
thank you so much..
i'm a bit worried that what I taught them is wrong..

Probably I think "minna ikuzo" is "Everybody, let's go!" or "Hey, let's go!".
Men use it. It means "Let's go, everybody!".
It is not polite way.
Women use "minasann ikimasyou".(Tomboy might use "minna, ikuzo!".)
Men use "minasann ikimasyou" at the official place, too.
>"ALL MEN! GET READY! FIRE (fire as in fire your guns!)
how about:
全員、構え、狙え、撃て!(Zen'in, kamae, nerae, ute!)
ALL MEN! = 全隊(ZENTAI)
GET READY! = 構え!(KAMAE!)
FIRE! = 撃て!(UTE!)
