piano vid - 七五調の言葉
I found a interesting piano lesson video on Youtube.
I've been playing drums for years, but can't play piano. This video lesson is funny and made me want to have a lesson lol
It's a musical topic, so I'll write another music topic. Ah, it's about not only music but literature.
People loves to use the rhythm of the sentences, especially in music words and literature. And Japanese have been preferring the 7-5 rhythm.
Some of you might know about Japanese Haiku/Tanka. They are traditional Japanese poetry styles. Over a thousand years we have been immersed in those poetry rhythm.
Haiku consist of 5-7-5 sounds (not characters) and Tanka consist of 5-7-5-7-7. 8 sounds phrase can be replaced with 7 part.
For example of Tanka: 「アリゾナに 満月昇れば 人型の サボテン千余が すわ踊りだす」 arizona ni - mangetsu noboreba - hitogata no - saboten senyo ga - suwa odoridasu
(In the night of Arizona, the full moon is shining and thousands of human-shaped cactuses begin to dance)
So, why such rhythm got popular among people? One of the reason is the light and catchy mood the 7-5 sounds have. And by 4/4 beat Western Music changed Japanese music culture at 19c, 7-5 sounds phrases has been taken over until modern J-pop culture.

I think those 7-5 styles are one of the reason why Japanese often omit some particles and grammatic stuffs lol
I heard more details about 5-7 and haiku/tanka are written on the book 「声に出して読みたい日本語」. This book gets popular these days, but I have never read it yet.
I'll write more example of haiku/tanka next.

thanks for your corrections! It's always great help for me.
yeah, haiku/tanka poetry was born in old-time Kyoto! But even in dialect, people don't omit the particles as long as it's formal sentence.
What you watched in Detective Conan might be light and informal kansai-ben, so you might feel that. But I think kansai-ben is more rhythmical word than the standard Japanese.
Oh, isn't Heiji (Heizo? It's slipped my head) Osaka person, is he? Osaka-ben is a bit rough among kansai-ben, and Kyoto-ben has soft and elegant atmosphere ^^

thank you so much for your great help!
hmm, I'm still not good at prepositions...and I made too much miscellaneous tense mistakes :(
Ah, it's not only about music but literature.
can be replaced=替わられることができる, can replace=替われる。あなたの意味と添削のは違います。私は音楽のことを全然分からないから、どちらが正しいことが知らなくてすみません。
