Nowadays, some wealthy parents send their children to the single sex schools for the reason that they believe this can offer their children a better way of study. But, from my point of view, co-ed schools are definitely the more suitable for students.
First of all, co-ed schools can benifit the students mentally. It is universally acknowledged that most of the schools in my country are co-ed ones. And I'm studying in a co-ed university now. I think it is significant for a student to know that the world is not made up of single sex but two. And these two are of great differences. And both girls and boys can learn to socialize with each other. On the contrary, studying in a single sex school will limit a person's horizon. Besides, spending more time with the same sex may increase the number of homosexuals due to being isolated from the opposite gender.
In addition, co-ed schools can make full use of the different characteristic of boys or girls. In general, boys are creative but careless while girls are patient but sensitive. If studying in the same class, they can not only learn from each other but also help each other. Only when we are creative and patient can we receive a final success.
If you have a child, send him or her to co-ed schools, because your child can learn not only the knowledge but also the ability to win in the competitive society.
