I had wanted to know how to improve my English.

One of my English teacher advised me some important points of improving English for Japanese.
First of all, it is better to understand directly in English and also think about in English. Don't change to Japanese and then don't translate to English again.
She taught me the best way to do so.
It is to imagine a color or something like.
When I hear a good news, I imagine a warm color in my brain; for example, orange or red. When I hear a bad news, I imagine a cold color, for example blue or black or something like.
But I haven't been able to imagine such colors yet.

In other words, to be fluent in a language, you need to be intuitive. I think what your teacher meant is to associate with imagery that you're used to, but not the language itself.

Hi Saya-san,

Good evining!
Thanks a lot.
I understand what you want to say.
Maybe my English teacher has wanted to teach me same meanings as you wrote, I think.
I agree with you.
