Long time no see

Recently,I back to english club to practice my english,because I will go to Britain in July(If everything runs smooth).But,from this Friday,I am upset ,the reason is simple that my favourite teacher who I admire pays no attention to me .
Friday was his class,and I was happy on the way to school , I imagined that how I happy(i want ues the similar word as happy ) to see him again, when I arrived in class, I said HI to him,but he just replied me Hello as he treated strangers .I was sad a whole day.At tne end of class , I wanted to try to talk with him , and I asked him how about me in his class today , he nodded ,that's all . Who knows my feel at that time , my tears would flowed.....on face .
These days , I dont know how I face to him .And more importantly,it is hard to me that his class is perfect(can I say his class is charming?)while he always has little responses to me(after classes) .Maybe I totally understand him , he concentrates on his chinese ......right???
My friends tell me you must be give up.....''he is not suits you , it is just your own wishful thinking'......
How should I do ????
Shall I talk to him my feel ???face to communicate ???
Are the British like this?????
