DCI Barnaby
The TV series :Midsomer Murders, is one of my favorite series.
I discovered the serie years ago, on an Arab channel MBC4.
In fact, most of my favorite series and books are about detectives and mysteries and some police series. Such as, The Mentalist, CSI, Hawai 5O and of course Aghata Christies series (and novels).
Unfortunately, in the few last years, they stopped broadcasting the show on MBC.
Thanks to the YouTube, I was able to watch it again. Mainly, old seasons.
From time to time, I pick an episode and watch it. The good thing in series is that you don't have to watch it in order!
here is a part from the episode Four Funerals and a Wedding
Yesterday, I watch the eighth episode of the thirteen season. For my big surprise it was the last one!
Inspector Tom Barnaby (John Nettles) decide to retire and a new Barnaby (his cousin) takes over.
That was sad, I hate when they change the main actor, especially for series of thirteen years old!
I don't think I'll try to watch the new season, I'll just keep watching episodes from old ones.

Kojak and Columbo are real classic, I think Columbo was the first series I watched and I loved the way he always talk about his wife that we never saw!!
Thank John for correction and for remind me of this series :)
It looks like a British show. We're not allowed to watch British shows in America, or we get our citizenship taken away and deported. I'll watch it in secret. :)
I'm sure sensibilities are over between American and British, except maybe for southerner , you are so hard to change your mind :p
