It was too hot and humid.

The day before yesterday, I went to a tennis court with my husband. Though the tennis court has a roof, the weather was too much hot for playing tennis.
His appearance seemed to become caught in a shower.
After we changed the T-shirts, we went to a Japanese style restaurant.
A waitress served two glasses of cold water and two cups of hot tea to us immediately.
How considerate she is!
No matter how considerate she is, we don't need to give her any tips in Japan.
I think that the services at restaurants in Japan are mostly great.

I hope this heatwave breaks for you guys soon... When I travel to foreign countries I always have a hard time not tipping waitresses for good service. I know it isn't customary to do so in other places, but I've been brought up to tip if the waitresses do a good job, so I always feel like a jerk when I leave without tipping :(

Bacholyte
Waitresses and waiters in Japan serve some water for free. They serve them without rewards. Therefore people often go to good restaurants which have the good service.
