My iPhone was frozen

I tried to turn on my iPhone after being finished exercising at the gym. I saw the familiar apple logo and then a little circle dots started blinking with circling. But the circle never disappeared. It continued until I forced to turn off my iPhone. Oh, no!
I came back home and tried recovery. I saved all data and tried to recover my phone and restore the data. But it didn't work. It was the same thing. I was desperate!
Then I tried recovery as a new iPhone, I mean clearing all the data and recovering.
It worked! Whew, what a relief! However, since I cleared everything. It took hours to set up everything.
What a day! Sigh.....

It continued until I was forced to turn off my iPhone.
The same thing happened again.
Then I tried recovering it as a new iPhone, which means clearing all the data and recovering.
However, since I cleared everything ―(continue)
― it took hours to set up everything again.
