Do You Like Rain? - Aimez-vous la pluie ?

For a few days, the sun has been shinning and I'm in a very good mod again. I hate rainy days in summer. Indeed, I don't like them very much whatever season it is.
Do you like rain? What do you think about when it is raining?
I often think of a poem by Verlaine which I learnt when I was elf years old. The beauty of his text comfort me.
It's weeping in my heart
Like it's raining on the town.
What is this languor
Coming into my heart?
Oh! soft noise of the rain
On the ground and roofs!
For a bored heart
oh, the song of the rain!
It's weeping without sense
In my heart disgusted by itself
What! No treason?...
This mourning has no reason
It is the worst sorrow* *in French, "peine" = sorrow, sadness but also sentence
To ignore why
Without love and hatred
My heart is suffering so hard!
There are a lot of videos about this poem.
The japanese tittle of the following video is wrong, the poem has been written by Verlaine (not by Rimbaud), when both poets were separating.
Depuis quelques jours le soleil brille et je suis à nouveau de très bonne humeur. Je déteste les jours de pluie en été. En vérité, je ne les aime jamais beaucoup quelque soit la saison.

Je pense souvent à un poème de Verlaine que j'ai appris à 11 ans. La beauté de ce texte me réconforte.

J'adore aussi ce genre de chanson.
J'écrirai de temps en temps sur nos poètes et surtout sur ceux dont les chansons ont été adaptées en musique. Pourrais-tu nous présenter des poètes iraniens ?

Mais je peut comprendre qu'on soit fatigué de la pluie après plusieurs journées grises! Après tout, on a besoin du soleil!

The Japanese title of the following video is wrong, the poem was written by Verlaine (not by Rimbaud), [???when both poets were separating.??? I am probably revealing my ignorance of French literature, but I don't understand. Sorry]
Verlaine and Rimbaud were lovers (in the years 1850) and lived a very complex affair. Verlaine left his wife, was put in prison because he tried to kill Rimbaud, they escaped together to Belgium......
At the end, Rimbaud left France, emigrated to Africa and stopped writing poems although he still was under 30.

That made me laugh ! I guess 252 means eleven ? (elf = 11 in German and Dutch). I love sitting in the conservatory when it's raining (or by the fire, depending on the season) reading a good book.
