I'm trying to teach myself Japanese and use a vast majority of resources to do so. Recently I signed up at TextFugu (online Japanese texbook) because I noticed that most of my good foundation came from that place. I'm deeply fascinated by the culture differences between East-Asia and the western world, and I guess a lot of my motivation for learning Japanese stems from that. My family have been moving to and from continents for generations, so I've never grown to feel explicitly Norwegian. For me, language studies is about me trying to find or create my own unique cultural identity. Apart from these things I'm a gadget freak, computer nerd and a music creating, passionate fellow human. I get easily involved and can follow a wide range of topics.

I'll be using Lang-8 alongside RhinoSpike and Smart.fm while (hopefully) having heaps of fun along the way. Thank you for reading, and I hope to see you around here soon. Cheers!
