When I got home, it had already got dark outside.
I unloced the door and switched on the lights at the entrance. Then I felt I became pale with fear. He looked back at me with big eyes were wide open. I could also see weapons in his hands.

There was a mantis at the entrance.(*Д*;)

I hate insects, especially mantises. Mantises have eerie big eyes, and their hands are weapons. Actually I have no confidence to win a battle with him. He might put me into a hypnotic state with his eyes and he might attack me with his weapons.
I wanted to enter the room, but he stood blocking the entrance. I tried to step over him, but I realized that he can fly. So I called my cousin's son who lives near my house.
"Help me!"
I explained about my situaton. He was dumbfounded and asked me;
"Hey, how old are you? Have you ever seen a person who was killed by a mantis?"
"I might be the first one!"
He reluctantly came to my house and picked up the mantis, and took the mantis 2 blocks away.

After that I treated him to dinner as a reward. I took him to conveyor-belt sushi restaurant. He is young. He ate a lot. The cost of the mantis extermination was 6,000yen. (><)


家についた時、辺りは暗くなっていた。私はドアをあけ、玄関の明かりをつけた。そして、私は自分の顔色が青ざめるのがわかった。彼は大きく見開いた目で私を振り返った。彼の両手には凶器が見えた。

玄関にカマキリがいたんです！

昆虫は嫌いです。とくにカマキリ！カマキリは不気味な大きい目をしていて、両手は凶器になってます。　正直、カマキリと戦うことになったら勝つ自信はありません。カマキリはあの目で催眠術をかけ、両手の武器で攻撃してくるにちがいありません。
部屋に入りたかったけど、カマキリが道をふさいでいて入れません。飛び越えようかとも思ったけど、彼は飛べるってことに気が付きました。そこで、私は近所のいとこの息子に電話しました。
「助けて！」
私は状況を説明しました。彼はあきれてこう言いました。
「あのさ。いくつ？今までにカマキリに殺された人見たことある？」
「私が最初の人になるかも知れないでしょ！」
彼はしぶしぶ、うちに来て、カマキリを遠くまで持っていってくれました。

その後、お礼に彼を回転すしにつれて行きました。彼は若いのでよく食べます。
カマキリの駆除代は6,000円でした。
