The attached picture was taken on 6th of April this year. It was the day of my daughter's elementary school entrance ceremony. The cherry blossom was in full bloom on perfect timing for her.

Four days later, it was like snowstorm of cherry blossom's petals. They kept falling, dancing in the air. It was sunny but a windy day. I could overhear that everyone visited to the park gasped "桜吹雪だね・・・ (It is cherry blossom petals' storm...)". On that day, I spent three and a half hours at park with my son. He didn't allow me to go home. He was so persistent.

I have been forced to spend my free time at a nearby park with my kids for last few days. The weather has been so beautiful. Days are becoming longer, and my kids love to spend more time in a park.

They want to play in a sand pit, and irresistibly take their shoes off. The sand is nicely warmed up by sunshine, so they need to be bare footed!

Today, about a half of cheery blossoms has perished, and I can see lots of green leaves through the scarce blossoms. The fallen petals on the ground have gradually changed its color from pale pink to brown.

By the time that cherry blossoms and tulips are over, we will see white, pink and red azalea blooms by roadside trees. I am afraid I won't have enough time to study for the Eiken exam in this beautiful season at home.

I can see that my kids enjoy nice and warm weather, being surrounded by the elaborate mixture of many flowers' scents. Every trees and flowers are shining and rejoicing even to my cynical eyes. Although I love to go home and spend a relaxed time over a cup of coffee, we can't miss it as it will pass quickly. So I let my kids play outside as long as possible.

Downside of it that, my eyes are weak to sunshine and I often have headache after spending too much time outside. I have already suntanned a bit. It's not good thing for a middle aged woman like me. It will cause stains on my face later.
