I have spent two nights and three days without my husband, because he was in a hospital for having a surgery.
He tore his Achilles' tendon of his left leg when he played tennis on last Saturday, 9th of October.
His tennis school is in Yokohama, it is far from the centre of Tokyo where we are living, it taks for one hour and half by car.
The doctor who did to him temporally repairs, haven't any connection to the hospital near our home and wasn't able to do operation.
Farther more unfortunately thing, it was the first day of the three days holiday in Japan, so every hospital closed except ER.
I called to the nearest general hospital which is able to do operation, but they refused to accept him.
Because the tearing the Achilles' tendon is not emergency thing for them.
So they said to us, 'You can waite for your surgery until Tuesday of 12th when all hospital will open.
Then he was in the hospital on 12th and had surgery in the next day's afternoon on 13th. It has done successfully.

My husband came back home 14th afternoon, and he is staying at home for the two weeks without any work.
I have to look after him for four weeks until his plaster cast will take off.
Especially I need to cook his meals for three times a day for him some weeks.
Oh dear!
Anyhow, he is fine and would like to read a lot of books in his sick days.
He maight enjoy his off.
