Hello, my name is Anne. I live in Japan and love it! However, my Japanese is very poor, so I need to learn. I think the best way to learn is through experience. Thus, I would like to be able to "talk" on here and learn from my mistakes. Please help me!

I have a college degree in English (writing and literature), and in America I worked as a pre-text editor for closed captioning for the hearing impaired for various television stations (CNN, FOX, and CNBC). I also have a college degree in Psychology, which was initially sparked by my fascination with the contrast in behaviors and ways of thinking between Americans and Japanese. In addition to helping people with their English and torturing them with my poor Japanese, I enjoy hearing/reading stories, ideas, opinions, facts, etc. about Japan.

I play the violin, am a long-distance runner, teach English privately while also working at a university, enjoy taking photos and traveling, read various fiction and nonfiction books, and spend a lot of time learning Japanese culture along with the language.
