I had an discussion in English as activity of my club.

Through the activity, I improve not only English but also ability to consider and ability to communicate.

Discussion make me think about what correct phrase is.

For example, I often say "I would like to confim your idea.".

Is it correct? Those who speak English say "confirm"?

No one around me know how to know correct phrase.

If you knew that, would you tell me that?

I'm not sure what you mean by confirming an idea. I don't think that is a common phrase in English. One possible expression that may help is "I'd like to make sure we're on the same page." or "Let me make sure I understand you correctly..."
