Hi,I am Sharagon.I am Japanese.

I have just registered with this site, and still not sure about it.

I have studied English for a long time.
My English is getting better very slowly.
I am a plodder.

Last week, I asked my friend who is good at English about how to learn the language.
And he advised me that writing is a good way to improve my language skill.
Few days later,I found this site.

Recently,I like drumming and dancing.
I like Jembe(African drum) and Frame Drum.
Though I am still beginner,I practice them almost every day.
Drumming is very comfortable for me.

About dancing,I have started learning Jazz dance since March this year.
So,I am a beginner for dancing,too.

Smile.

Fyreflyさん、

コンマの後はスペースを1つ空けるのですね。
「slowpoke」と「procrastinator」も覚えます。

Sharagon, thank you for leaving a note on my journal. It's nice to meet you too. はじめまして。

I haven't quit learning Japanese, but I am sort of taking a break. It takes a lot of time to learn, and it's a little difficult if I'm not taking a class.

With French, on the other hand, I can pick up a little and practice even without classes. It helps that some English words are related to French words. I've also been practicing French casually for a long time by reading it on the Internet.

I wish I could do the same with Japanese, but kanji makes it more difficult to read casually.

I have not travelled to Africa, but sometimes I go to conferences where there are many African people, and it's fun to hear them speaking French. It would be great to visit Africa, too. And think of the drumming!

Good luck with your studies! Let me know if I can help you with any tricky English.

Best regards,

Pete

Thank you very much for your correcting and explaining♪

Yes, Japanese Kanji is difficult to remember.
If I were not Japanese, just imagining to remember the large numbers of Kanji, I would be almost fainted. It is very hard, isn't it? I suggest you practice one Kanji a day.

Good luck with your studying French and Japanese too.

Best regards,

Sharagon

Hi, welcome!
You lead a very cultural lifestyle. I wish I could enjoy such a cool lifestyle as well, but I live in rural area. Nobody knows what djembe is.
Anyway, have a good time and improve your English here!
