The other day, I told my son's class theacher to "I will bring him back
to home after picnic tomorrow."
"明日のピクニックの後、彼(息子)をそのまま連れて帰ります。"
Was something wrong?
Mayby should I have said "I will pick him up~?"

I will bring him (back)to home after the picnic tomorrow. とあるピクニックです。 ども、この文脈に違うです。
Bring Him Back
The other day, I told my son's class theacher "I will pick him up right away after the picnic tomorrow"
I'm not a native English speaker, so I'm not sure though.
If you are not in the school, you will be taking the child to school. If you are not in the same place with the teacher, you will be taking the child to the teacher.
You can only bring the child home if you are home at the time that you make the statement - otherwise, you will be taking the child home. ごめんなさい、下手な日本語をできるので、日本語で説明することは無理です。
