Haha... I just realized this is quite hard to explain. As an English speaker, those answers just sound right.

For 1:
A: You don't use "-ing" form for a command/suggestion
C: Since the question is a suggestion, you wouldn't tell them "don't". It would be correct if the sentence was "Don't drink because you have to drive back home", but since it is a suggestion, you wouldn't be so assertive ("don't" is too strong)
D: This is grammatically incorrect... you wouldn't use it.

For 2:
A: Since the other person offered to bring the cup, you don't have anything to do with it so you wouldn't use "I'd"
B: That sounds as if YOU'RE the one doing them a favor, which is wrong
D: This would probably only make sense if you said another sentence before it. It sounds rude to answer the question with just this.
