Zee Ave and ukulele ( Simple questions from my listening to VOA news)
I took some pictures of the cloud, which make feel us the autumn, doesn't it ?
I have two questions which I noticed while listing to VOA news.
Have you ever heard of the singer's name, Zee Ave from Malaysia. She now lives in NYC as her song became popular.
(I understand VOA doesn't always introduce very popular singers like Lady Gaga. So you may not have known her.)
She plays two instruments. One is a guitar and the other is ukulele. Here is a question. Do you know how ukulele is called in Japan? Please answer in Katakana or Roman characters if you can? I haven't heard of such an accent of the instrument before I first heard the accents in English.

I took some pictures of the clouds today, which makes us feel like it's autumn, doesn't it ?
I have two questions which I noticed while listening to VOA news.
Have you ever heard of the singer's name, Zee Ave from Malaysia?
She now lives in NYC after her song became popular.
One is a guitar and the other is the ukulele.
So here's my question:
Do you know what the ukulele is called in Japan?
Please answer in Katakana or Roman characters if possible.
I haven't heard of such an accent of the instrument before I first heard the accents in English. (What do you mean by accent? Do you mean the way you pronounce the word 'ukelele'?)
I'm not sure of how to say it Japanese though.
The second answer is ウクレレ^^ I heard it ユクレリ in English.
"Accent" is needed to be written "pronounced" 日本語では発音をアクセントというんですよ
