I used to buy a lottery ticket twice a week. Our lottery in Japan is LOTO6 that we select six numbers from 43 numbers.
I always bought the same numbers, which are 8,13,19,21,33,41. Those were my favorite numbers. Since I can pick numbers, I'd like to win with my favorite numbers. One of my friends said that I was not going to win with those numbers and I should think well what numbers to pick everytime like he did. Mmmm..., he might be right. He's never won though.
I don't remember when, but I stopped buying a lottery ticket. I guess I was tired of losing. But I happened to buy it yesterday. I followed his advice this time. I didn't buy my favorite numbers but the numbers that are likely to win.
I checked the result online today. I lost again. I wasn't surprised to lose but I was to see the previous result!! They are almost my favorite numbers. If I bought my favorite numbers last Thursday, I could have won ¥485000. I should have believed in myself and never given up.
