I'd like to express my idea about the following article.
http://rarejobdailynewsarticle.blogspot.jp/2012/08/google-launches-website-to-protect.html
Why do you think some languages become lost while other languages are preserved?
As globalization rapidly progresses, most people tend to use majority languages such as English, Chinese in the business situation.
Furthermore, in heterogeneous countries like United States, people can't help but using their common language to promote communicating with each other.
Majority language is gradually becoming the world's common language while minority languages are disregarded as things of past.
What are the bad outcomes of losing a language forever?
Losing a language leads to losing our culture.
Regional dialects have a lot of backgrounds regarding unique culture.
Our Mother language is our life and we are going to lose our origin and culture if we lose it.

Majority language The language spoken by the majority is gradually becoming the world's common language while minority languages are disregarded as things of past.
Regional dialects have a lot of backgrounds regarding unique culture. Regional dialects reflect the unique culture of the area they come from.
(I hope you don't mind me rewriting that sentence. It's just that I know what you were saying but I didn't know how to fix it without changing the meaning. You could say something like "regional dialects come from backgrounds with unique cultures", and that would be okay too)
Really interesting to read and I enjoyed the article you linked. That's actually a really cool site, the way they have it set up for English learners. I wonder if I could find a similar one for learners of Spanish or Japanese? Anyway, good job, keep it up :)
