The typhoon came on the day before yesterday's night.
Normally, it comes on August or later, but it already came on June this year.
This year might be a bumper year of typhoon.
I dislike typhoon.
I don't worry about my house broken or flooded.
It is because the crops and the fruit trees might be damaged by the heavy rain and the storm.
Of course, I detest earthquake too.
I'm forgetting it normally, because I can't know when it happens.
However, the typhoon is different.
I can see it getting closer and closer with every moment on the weather forecast.
Always I'm watching its course with breathless interest praying like "don't come! go away!".
台風４号が一昨日の晩に来ました。
台風は普通、８月以降に来ることが多いですが、今年は６月だというのにもう台風が来ました。
今年は台風の当たり年かもしれません。
私は台風が嫌いです。
住んでいる家が壊れたり、浸水する心配はしていませんが、
作物や樹木が雨や風で被害を受けるかもしれないからです。
地震はもちろん嫌いですが、いつくるか分からないので、普段は忘れています。
でも、台風は違います。
天気予報で刻一刻と近づいてくるのが分かります。
いつも、「こっちにくるな。あっちへ行け」と念じながら、進路を固唾を呑んで見守っています。
