I wented to Onjyuku for surfing last Wednesday.

Onjyuku in Chiba is very beautiful blace,blue sea,white beach. Sometimes we could see jumping fishes.

There are two camels's bronze statue.

I haven't been there since this June.

When I was univercity student,I had gone there every weekends because of training for the lifesaving.

Onjyuku is my favorite place. There are lots memories of my youth.

I have gotten powers!!;)

Some people died because of heat.

There is not air-conditioning in my house.

So,I'm in the cafe for running away from the heat.



My work is going well.

I have charge of the cosmetics.

I am getting interestied in it little by little.

It is a hard when customer asked to m about foundation which color is better for her.

Actually,I don't understand how difference them??

They are very similar....

Generally, 29 years old is adult, isn't it?


when I was primary school student, I had thought about what is the adult?

To tell the truth, I didn' respect them because they had never remembered when they were children.

They were children but they forgot all children's mind and didn't understand them.

So I have continued thinking what kind of adult do I want to become?

The adult with a broad outlook on life.
The adult of good judgment.

Maybe, those are good.

I hope I continue having a challenge spirit.

It was too long. I could make a beautiful CV, I think.


I had an interview at a retail store last Sunday.

I thougth I had a good time.

Interviewer said he will call me within three days if I am employed as a stuff.

Next day, he called me!!!

I will work there form this Saturday.

I am so happy !!!!

I will do my best all the time.

He comes from Brazil and lives in NZ for 6 years so he can speak English fluently.

But our pronunciation is unusual.

We got used to it each other.


He had worked in the North Island for 4 weeks.

I forget his English.

I think he also forget my English but he doesn't know it.

Because he have talked to me a lot but I haven't yet.

I am afraid. I don't want him to know about I haven't understood his English.

I am negative now.

I was parking my car for 30 minuts.

I thought here is free for 60 minuts but it was wrong.

I had to pay 3 dollars before I parked.

I didn't know that so I got a ticket and I must pay penalty.

It was 40 dollars !!! Oh～

I parked my car just 30 minuts!!!

It is my fault. I must pay it. Yes I payed it.

hahaha.Never mind.

This is my worst shit.(Can I use "shit"?)

It took for 90 minutes.

It was hard a bit but I enjoyed it.

I think I have a good balance because I tryed surfing sometimes.

We sweated all over!!

I love it.

I love to sweat by sports.

I will go again but I don't have a yoga mat so I will find a cheap one.

I will go back to Japan on the first of September.

I will quit my job this month and I will go travelling to the North Island on August.

I will go back earlier because of my mother.

She is very busy and she need to help.

I will keep to study English in Japan !

I made friends in NZ so I must be miss them.

It alone makes me sad.


I don't have confidence in my English so I can't talk a lot.

It is my problem.

Almost my friends like chatting. It is very good for theri English.

I need to change my mind.

When I will go travelling, I will try to talk to make new friends.

I will change my mind !!

He went traveling abroad for the first time.

I haven't seen him for eight months.

I was very happy !

We went to Tekapo, Queenstown and Wanaka.

We had great time.

In Queenstown, we did the paraflights.

We flew on the lake and saw beautiful view.

It was fantstic !!!

I wanted to make a present of bungy jump to him but he didn't try it.

We have a lot of new memories.

I miss him but I will go back to Japan four months later so I enjoy now !!

and study English !!

This was on my three times.

I felt lonely a bit so I invited my friend to come to my house.

She likes dancing and she dance the salsa very well !!

She taught me to dance.

I had not ever danced because I am shy.

I have changed this day.

We drank beers and dancing all the night.

It was great time for us. We enjoyed it.


I like dancing very much !

I would like to try to dance in the pub someday.


I have changed a lot since I came to NZ.

She come from Mexco.

She lives with her brother , his wife and their baby boy.

Their house is very nice, warm, large and there are many beautiful photos.

I arrived at her house at about 6:30 pm and we bought a pizza.

I made the fondant chocolat and the chocolate moose.

They were good.

My friend's sister-in-law beked the chocolate cake so we had a pizza and chocolate party this night !!

Fu～ I'm on diet from today !!

Anyway, we had very nice time.

I chated with them about my hobbies,my friend's new boyfriend and so on !!

Next morning, my friend cooked the cinnamon french toasts for me.
and she cooked the tortilla for dinner.

They were so delicious!!

I like her and her family.

I relaxed with them.

He worked there just a day and I didn't have anything to do until 5pm so he invited and brought me to Graymonth.

It took four hours.

His job finished for two hours.

Then, We left for home.

On our way home, he got a ticket for speeding....

This is no good...

After that, he still hurried for me because I had to work.

I arrived at my place of work on time.(actually, 30 minutes before I started work !!)

Next morning, I met him.

He said "I lost my mobile phone..."

This was a terrible one.

He used it for business and he doesn't make notes of a telephone directory.

He was very depressed.

So I decided I went back and sought it !!

I have remembered we went a riverside and a bit walked there.

He dropped it there !

I arrived and looked for his mobile phone,,,, but I couldn't find it.

I had a time limit because this day also I had work.

It was at 13:30...I had to go back now...

I gave up...but I looked around one more.

Suddenly, I found it !!!!!

Unbelievable !!! I was very very happy !!!

Then, I talked to his boss. I didn't tell him who I am.

I went back , but I didn't meet him this night.

Next day, he called me and asked "What is your name??"

I said "I am Miko !! hahaha"

He was very surprised. hahaha


I did it because he is good friend for me.

He do his best for me all the time.

If I didn't go to Graymonth, he didn't get a ticket, he didn't lose his mobile phone and he didn't argue with his boss.

This time, he did for me all things became bad things for him..

I'm very sorry...

His boss said to him

"You are very lucky. One Japanese girl found your mobile phone. She lives same town as you !! This is destiny! "

Oh dear..

I like it but I will go to work today, I must drive my car.

It is scary, isn't it.

Fortunately, It doesn't accumulate on the ground and stopped now.

I wish I will never have accident by my car.


Meanwhile,I am planing to go travelling all of NZ this September.

I think I will go back to Japan only a week before travel if I can.

Anyway, I will return to Japan in the evening on the 16th of October.

I study English hard, maybe I need it more, and I also enjoy my life.

I will find job at merchandise goods shop after I go back there.

I hope that it establish a cafe attach to it.

I have a good news today.

Before, guys comfirmed my resumes for me, thank you about that.

Then I went a job interview at the Italian restaurant last Tuesday and I got that job.

My new job is the chef assistant
?( I am assistant to chef )?

I still work at the cafe and I learn about the light meals, then I will learn how to cook to Italian meals too.

I am intersted in this new experience.
?(I like learning about inexperience)?

My NZ life is going well. I am quite lucky.


I will save a money and I would like to go back to Japan this September for just a week because there is my friend's wedding reception !!!

Then, after that, I will travel in NZ by myself.

I wish everything is going well !!

At first, I was afraid of gravels but my flatmates taught me how to ride a bicycle.

After practice, we went to forest.

The lanes were very narrow and there were many curves and steep slopes!!

My friends were quite fast! They are awesome!

Step by step, I got used to it so I could be speeding up.

I was excited it!

It was nice cold day and nice fresh air in the forest.

We enjoyed it for about one hour and half.

I love spending like this day!!

I can't imagine when I go back to Japan.

Almost everyday, I go to surf in the morning and I go to work four days a week at night time.

Sometimes I go to dinner with my friends.

Sometimes they come to my house then enjoy drinking and chat.

This is very slow life.

I like it but I don't know. Is it good for future??

My English is still poor.......yes.

I must study English hard!!!

Then, I found a English circle.

It is held every Thursdays so I will go there tomorrow morning.

I will try it because I don't want to waste of time.

I must do something for drowning out my anxiety.

Do my best !
I can do it!!

I got a wetsuit and a surfboard!!!!!!!!!

Oh It is great life in NZ .

Waves are awesome !!!

I went to beach this morning.

Waves were my waist or sometimes my shoulder in height.

They were awesome waves.

My wetsuit is amazing !

I never feel cold.

Oh it is Jesus stuff!!

My surfboard is secondhand but good for learn surfing.

It is 6.6feet,I thought a bit short for me before I bought it,but this is wrong.

It is really nice for me.

It is exactly my board.

I'm not good surfer yet, but I'm getting better.

I remember when I was lifesaver,I was really enjoying it.

I love surfing.

This is my life.

My job was office work for 5years in Japan. I have a lot of skill of general office work.

I can make useful datas with the Excle, Word or Power point.

I got those skills from my jobs.

I like to develop my skills and also I like learning new things

I didn't work so we had lunch togerther.

They are fourteen people so the cafe's upstairs was full of them.

Our teacher is Tim,25 years old, he is very kind and funny.

We like him very much.

There are four Saudi Arabian,three Korian,one Mexican and three Japanese in their class.

Usually everyone are cheerful but they were quiet when we ate some pizzas.

I don't know why.


I'm intersted in another country's culture.

Specially Saudi Arabia's culture is interesting for me.

They said "We have six months before we start Ramadan"

Ramadan is a fast.

They have a fast for one month !!


Everyone are quite considerate.

I'm lucky to make friends with them.

Some friends will come again at night.

This car's owner is Japanese man, he will go back to Japan day after tomorrow so he would like to sell it.

Actuality he must sell it.

The car is very tidy and good condition TOYOTA's one.

I dicided to buy it.

It is my birthday !!

The car is present for me from me! haha!

I will be a chef once a week in cafe!!

It is amazing experience that baking muffins, scorns and cook lunch for guests

I don't have any experience about it, but Cafe's owner asked me to be chef,,,

hahaha!!

It is interesting!!

Job training was not difficult for me but I can't remember recipes for lunch menu so I must check my notebook when I cook them.

This isn't bad problem.

I need a time, isn't it ?

I'm enjoying my new job.

I hope I will be a good chef, then, I cook something good foods for my boyfriend and my family when I come back to Japan

I don't have any experience about it so I was afraid whether I got that job or not.

Then, I got a job as a kitchen hand in cafe !!

Actually, I didn't like to cook and bake,,, but I am interested that job because I'm learning about how to cook meals and bake some cakes, muffins and so on.

Then, I saw guests smile and heard "Fantstic!" "Delicious" when they ate a pizza that I made.

I was happy about it !

The cafe is like a new school for me !!

Chef is a great teacher.

He cooked dinner for me everytime and they were all delicous !!!!!!!!!!!!

I will learn to how to cook from him.

I didn't have any experience about kitchen but I got a chance to learn it.

I will work hard ! and I will be a good cafe staff.

Oh Time passes so fast !

On Friday night , I had a party in the pub.

It was a good pub. I had to say goodbye to my friends.

I don't like it but fortunately , I still stay in NZ.

I have a chance to see them again.

I hope we keep in touch.

Then, I must move to new flat last Saturday !!

I packed up my things, it was hard work because I have a lot of thinks so my baggage get heavy !

My hostmother transport me to the new flat.

I was littel bit sad to say goodbye to host family.

I like them very much.

New flatmates , a Kiwi(owner) and a Brazilian , are olso nice people.

They like talking.

Owner lived and teached English in Japan so he can speak Japanese.

It's great for my English !!

When I have some mistakes , he gorrect them.

I graduated from school but I got new teachers!


Then,I'm going to get a job.

I go to test in a cafe today.

Please wish I can get that job.

On 20th December, our trip started.

It was rainy.

We went to Kaikoura. We ate a Cray Fish.

It’s very expensive, so the two of us shared the half of Cray Fish.

It was small, but we enjoyed it.

It was very delicious!

We met school friends there!

On 21st, we went to Nelson.

I had mistake this day.

I thought we can go to Abel Tasman today,

but there is no bus, so we had to stay in Nelson.

We met other school friends. They also go to Abel Tasman tomorrow.

On 22nd, we went to Abel Tasman.

We walked there about seven hours.

I saw very beautiful view, beach, nature, sky!!!

It’s so nice!! Color is very amazing!!

I wanted to swim in the sea, but I couldn’t.

In the mountain, we met other school friends!!

Oh! What NZ is small!! They were lovely happenings.

On 23rd, we came back to Nelson.

On 24th, we left for Gray month.

It’s Christmas Eve!! So we had a party at night.

We talked over a glass of wine.

We learned how to play chess in BBH.

I liked playing chess. I was exciting!!

I’ll never forget how to play it.

On 25th, we stayed in Gray month, because there is no bus day.

It was no open stores, cafes, and souvenir shops, everything closed!!

I played chess, relaxed, and went to beach.

On 26th, we left for Franz Josef.

On 27th, I walked on the glacier about eight hours.

My friend changed her plan to four hours from eight.

She knew it too long hours for her. She learned in Abel Tasman.

I think she should try to walk for eight hours,

because the further I went up, the glacier became clear and beautiful blue.

Sometimes I was scared when I climbed steep path or jumped deep crack, but it was exciting!!

It was adventure!! I wasn’t tired.

This is my best activity of this trip.

Sometimes I was scared about their story, but it was a great show, because I felt I was one of the Maori people.

Oh yes! I slipped into another time, I was in one hundred years ago!!

It was amazing!!

I visited their village, then saw and heard their house, their stories and their culture.

Besides, I fought with other group of Maori.

After activity, I had a big dinner of Maori foods.

I ate them too much…

Next day, it was Saturday, I felt “those foods are sitting heavy on my stomach”

I thought “I have to take exercise”

I went to swimming, but my stomach was still bad.

After four days, my stomach was feeling bad.

I learned from this matter.

“It is bad for us to eat too much”

Be careful about it!!

It's a lasting memory, because it was the first time I had travelled by my self.

One Friday, after work, I took a night bus from Tokyo to Tokyo.

It took eight hours.

It was very long and was uncomfortable in the bus, but I slept very well.

I arrived in Kyoto on saturday morning at about six am.

I took a train to Kibune shrine station, and visited Kibune shrine.

It is a holy place.

I was moved by the solemn ambience.

Then I climbed mount Kurama.

It is a small mountain so I could climb it easily.

I enjoyed trekking.

After that I went to a hot spring for a cure.

Then I went back to Kyoto station .

I bougth some souvenirs and some presents for my family.

At night, I took a bus again and I went back to Tokyo on Sunday morning.

I was very tired, but I liked to travel alone,because I felt refreshed.

This was my first time traveling by myself

We had a party at house
