Je suis à la maison de mes parents.
En japon, on a quelques vacances de la fin du avril au début du mai.
Quelques gens ont leurs vacances plus que une semaine.
Je travaillerai en 2ème mai.
Je vais aller à un bureau avec mes amis en 1er mai.
Je l'attends avec impatience !
Je vais loger ici cette nuit. :)

In Japan, we have some holidays from the end of April to the beginning of May.
Some people have holidays more than one week.
I'm to work on 2nd May.
I will go to a office with my friends on 1st May,
I'm looking forward to it!
I'm staying here tonight. :)

一週間以上休みをとる人もいます。
私は五月二日に出勤します。
五月一日は友人ととあるオフィスに行きます。
楽しみです！
今晩はここに泊まります。 :)

「quelques vacances」というのは幾つかの休みの週間という意味になります。2つか3つの連休の週間があるように感じます。
Quelques personnes ont leurs vacances pendant plus d'une semaine./ Quelques personnes ont plus d'une semaine de vacances.
quelques gensはいえません。
前者の表現は少し不自然に聞こえるので、もっと自然な言い方をおすすめしました。
Je travaillerai le 2 mai.
Je vais aller à un bureau avec mes amis le 1er mai.
