Old Science Fiction Films (very old)

Real science fiction fans usually don´t look for movies with astonishing special effects but either they prefer nice histories. Histories that will open their minds and help to imagine what will happen in the future.
One of the oldest and most known science fiction films is the George Melies "A Trip to the Moon" (1902). It is a soundless film in black and white based on Jules Verne famous novel. Some of the "special effects" were made using painted cardboard.
Another no so well known is the soviet film "Aelita Queen of Mars" by Iakov Protazanov (1928). It´s about a princess who live in Mars and fall in love with an kosmonaut who is seeing coming from earth using a telescope. But that is not all, earth kosmonauts bring the soviet revolution to exploited workers of Mars!!!
There are another famous german film named "Woman in the Moon" by Frizt Lang (1929). This movie is highly characterized by introducing different technical aspects (sometimes so advanced for that time) of space exploration. The film shows a multi stage rocket (incredible!!), the acceleration effects over human body, the speed reached by a rocket ( several km by seconds, amazing!! ).
