Yesterday, as I had promised in an earlier journal entry, I made sure not to drink too much beer. You all seem to be a good influence on me! However, to compensate for not drinking too much, I ate too much pizza instead. (^^;) It was delicious. But my team won their match! Looking back on it all, I had a very enjoyable day.

Zuko-
Continuo- I read your first comment and thought "Doesn't eat beer, and the pizza flows... what?"(笑)
Good for you!!
Thank you pleasant! I was uncomfortable using "でも" in that sentence, but I didn't know if I could use "しかし" there as well since I had used it like "however" in the previous sentence. Thank you for clarifying that for me!
Thanks, yossy! Could I also use 勝利した instead of 勝った to imply I am not a member of the team? Or do I still need to use
Bacholyte-san,
I'm afraid but I mean "しかも" not "しかし", which is different from the last letter.
"しかも" means "in addition" or "furthermore".
"しかし" means "but" or "however".
Thank you.^_^
"All's well that ends well."
