  • I was thinking to go there.
  • I was thinking of going there.

Hello

The first question. No. They are not the same. You can only use 1A)

Number 2)
A) I was thinking of going there <---------- Future sentence
B) and C) are similar

Number 3)
A) <--- It asks if it would be helpful if you drew a map.
B) <---- It just asks permission to draw a map

4) Yes. If you want to make a copy, that question is good. However it is possible that you are not able to make a copy eg in a power cut

5) Yes, they can be changed. I think B sounds more natural though

Have fun learning English

  • (1) Can the sentence A be changed to the sentence B?

  • (2) Are the next three sentences the same meaning or not?
  • (2) Do the next three sentences have the same meaning or not?

  • I was thinking to go there.
  • I was thinking about going there.

  • If I want to make you copy, should I make that I was wondering if it would be possible for you to make a copy?
  • If I want to make you copy, should I say, "I was wondering if it would be possible for you to make a copy?"

  • (5) The sentence, I want to be married, can be changed to below two.
  • (5) Can the sentence, "I want to be married," be changed to the two sentences below?

1) No. Only A is correct. Sentence B is grammatically incorrect. Bは悪いです。

2) They have similar meanings, although there are slight differences. A can be used in either future or past tense depending on the context. B is slightly more formal than C. Aは文脈で未来も過去形もいいと思います。 BのほうがCよりフォーマルです。

3)A = 地図を画きましょうか。 Suggesting or offering to help.
B = 地図を画いてもいいですか。 Asking for permission.

4) I was wondering if it would be possible to make a copy. = you make the copy
I was wondering if it would be possible for you to make a copy = person you are talking to makes the copy

5) I agree with EdKiwi. B sounds the most natural although they all can be used. 同じ意味ですが、Bは一番いいです。

頑張ってください。
